#2 Setting up a blog when blind

The title really reflects how I am feeling about setting up a blog. Plus the fact that I am using a laptop that doesnt have a separate mouse attached so the commands are different to those I am use to using at work It would be great to hear or rather read how others are finding this task. I am especially interested in reading the thoughts of those people, like myself who have never done anything like this before.

One blind mouse? Well, there are no farmer's wives waiting out there. Anyway, looks like you've got posting sussed. My advice: if you hit a problem, experiment, or just post a query - and try something else while you wait for a reply. Bound to be one or two librarians out there..

Congratulations Poppy, you have successfully made a blog and as the programme goes on you will get more confident (the Admin team has!)
Have a look at some of the other participants blogs - the link is in the sidebar on the Programme Exercise blog - you will see you are are certainly not alone.
Wise words from soandso too.

Well can believe i have finally made my way back to my blog and by chance clicked on a button that has enabled me to post a new comment. It is jolly confusing and really time consuming mucking around setting this up. I have finally worked out how to make a fickr blog to access an image for exercise 4. It must have taken me about 2 hours. Took me ages to even work out I needed a fickr (yahoo) blog a/c to upload a picture. I thought I would be working through this blog. Good luck to others when they go fishing in the dark for daisies like I have just been doing. At least with cr......py weather like we are having it is very conducive doing something inside in a warm home. It beats gardening.
The concept of using a flickr to display photos sounds great, certainly for storing photos, but I would prefer to look at my photos at leisure in hardcopy format and control to whom I allow access to these.
if you would like to view the link to the field of daisies i found of flickr, here it is.
